Carry out call for evidence and telephone interviews to inform Oversight Group and advise DEFRA on known issues.

Convene cross-sector oversight group and specialist expert groups

Work with stakeholders to identify barriers to BNG success, and identify common methodologies which assist the creation of new BNG. Collate issues that the sector is experiencing and to inform consultations with DEFRA.

Undertake a call for evidence to understand the barriers and enablers that need to be addressed for successful implementation. Maintain a prioritised log of issues and work with partners to resolve them.
