Malala Yousafzai

Malal yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. Suprisingly her father was astonished to have a baby girl, most fathers got disappointed to have a girl, they wanted a boy. But Ziaudden was not like that, he was proud that he and his wife were able to have a child regaurdless of its gender.

Malala Yousafzai at age 11, gives a speech in front of the national press, “How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to an education." This speech was based on the fact that the Taliban is targeting girls' schools and forcing them to close.

Malala started blogging for the British Broadcasting Company Urdu in January 2009 using the Pseudonym ( a fake name), Gul Makai.

In 2010 Malala started to recieve threatening notes under her door, ordering her to stop the crusades.

Malala was shot while travelling home
from school by the Taliban gun man. the Taliban admitted and took credit for the
assassination attempt.

On July 12, 2013 Malala gave a speech at the United Nation. Her birthday becomes recognized as "Malala Day"

Malala’s memoir "I Am Malala" is released.
